Lifeng Li

Li Lifeng earned his PhD in Modern Chinese History from Nanjing University in 2002.  He currently serves as the Chair of Nanjing University School of Government’s Department of Political Science in addition to the roles of Associate Professor and Doctoral Advisor. Professor Li was a post-doctoral fellow at Nankai University’s Department of History (2002-2004) and a visiting scholar at the Harvard-Yenching Institute at Harvard University (2012-2013). Professor Li’s research focuses on Chinese political history, especially the transformation of grassroots politics in 20th century China.
